Data and Privacy Notice

This notice applies to the household retirement cash flow calculator maintained by Simon Liu. Updated October 13, 2026.

Financial inputs are calculated locally

Salaries, pensions, assets, child budgets and major expenses are calculated in your browser. The current code does not send these inputs to a server. There are no accounts, logins, comments or online contact forms. The site does not include advertising or separate analytics scripts.

Local storage and CSV files

Browser localStorage saves your scenario inputs and language preference for future use. Other people using the same browser on a shared device may be able to read that data. Do not enter unrelated sensitive information such as identity document numbers, securities account details or passwords.

Use Clear inputs to clear the current scenario, or use your browser's site-data settings to remove the site's storage, including the language preference. CSV exports are saved locally through your browser. Before sharing a CSV file, check whether it contains personal financial information.

Site access and hosting

The site uses Cloudflare Workers for static hosting and security services. The provider may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information to deliver pages, prevent abuse and maintain the service. Log retention and security cookies depend on the actual configuration and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Local calculations do not mean that accessing the website involves no data processing.

Contact and external links

When you report an issue through GitHub or the author's other channels, the relevant platform processes your message under its own policies. Use fictional or redacted examples, and do not upload household financial details to public discussions. For privacy or correction requests, contact Simon Liu through the channels listed on the author's introduction page.

If uploads, analytics or advertising are added in the future, this notice will be updated to reflect those features and applicable user choices will be implemented.
